THE ALCHEMY OF THIS PIECE

Ok-confession time: This piece is not a new arrival to my collection, but it is a new arrival to the website. When I made this piece nearly three years ago, I had no idea it would still be waiting for the right person all this time later. The deep blue of the Blue Quartz, the little flash of Ethiopian Opal tucked above it, and the tiny whale swimming across the stone have always made me think about the ocean—and about how easy it is to mistake wandering for being lost. Whales can look like they're simply drifting through an endless sea, but underneath that seemingly effortless movement is direction, instinct, and purpose.

I imagine The Drifter finding its way to someone who has ever felt like they're just floating through life without knowing exactly where they're headed. Maybe you're taking the scenic route, changing direction, starting over, or simply trusting that you'll recognize the right place when you get there. Not every journey needs a perfectly plotted course. Sometimes you're allowed to drift for a while, follow the current, and let yourself discover that you were moving toward something all along.

HOW TO KEEP THE MAGIC STRONG

Each piece is lovingly hand-forged by yours truly in my small (and slightly chaotic) home studio. I work with natural and recycled materials, so you might notice a bit of texture, variation, or tiny imperfections—think of them as character, not flaws. These one-of-a-kind quirks are part of the charm.

While I design for wild hearts and bold spirits, please remember: natural stones can be a little tender. To keep your magic intact, remove your piece during high-energy activities—like intense workouts, heavy lifting, or skydiving (if you’re that kind of thrill-seeker). It’s also best to avoid extended dips in water, whether you’re surfing the sea or soaking in a long bath with moon salts.

Treat your jewels with care, and they’ll stay enchanted for many adventures to come. I wear my pieces nearly every day through all of my adventures and give it a light polish when I notice their sparkle is dulling.
