The Peruvian Opal has that incredible blue-green shade that looks almost like a piece of tropical water, with darker inclusions that give it depth and movement. Then there’s the little Ethiopian Opal at the top, catching the light with flashes of color that seem to appear and disappear as you move. I loved the idea of pairing these two very different opals together—the calm, earthy beauty of the Peruvian stone with the little bit of fire and surprise hiding in the Ethiopian Opal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThis is the kind of piece I imagine wearing when I need to remember that there is always something beautiful waiting just beneath the surface.\u003c\/strong\u003e Maybe it reminds you of standing at the edge of the ocean, watching the water change color as the light moves across it.
